I raced the mile today, got a PR 5:40. It's not the time I wanted but Im happy with some improvement:) then I did a half mile cool down and elevated. Later, I ran the 2 mile. Started out strong, I am so grateful for Sami, she kept me going when I felt like slowing down. We stuck with each other for most of the race. I finished with a 12:13.13! (An 11 sec PR). The weather wasn't that bad a little windy but other wise okay. It started raining after so I chilled out in the school, that was a party:) then I ran the 4x800. The girls did great I am so proud of them! We ran in the pouring rain but it was pretty fun, I love the rain! Today's meet was so fun!
Shout out to Chris Kauffman for breaking the school record in the 800m! And shout out everyone who ran today! They did awesome!!
